Can you guess what occurred with the Dow last Thursday? I have to ask you to guess because it got next to no coverage by the mainstream media and the coverage it did get was buried pretty deeply. According to CNN Money the Dow hit record closing for 10 straight days in a row. This is a pretty rare event as it has not happened since 1987. It is also has pretty big implications for every American because the Dow being up 5% since the start of the year means that both institutional investors and workers who have money in their 401K are both seeing great returns on their investments.

Democrats – Total War for Dummies

No I want to deal with the ominous undercurrent in the implication of the above statement that despite being outgunned, outmanned and in an inferior position to attack that is exactly what the Left is planning. The Democrat Party is essentially declaring total war and by doing so is only promising more of the same. The “same” being character attacks and identity politics and having no real discussions on policy issues unless they are sorties for personal attacks.

It is time for a reality check Democrats. Republicans hold the majority of power now and sooner rather later they are going to figure this out and stop acting like the minority party. When this occurs you can either have a seat at the table and have a hand in the agenda of the government or you can continue to move forward manufacturing outrage on a daily basis over anything and everything. Working with Republicans and the President means you can score victories which mean something for all your constituents. Being the party of hysteria and opposition means you score victories with a very radical left base.

Here is the truth kiddos… Socialism will always end up failing because government only excels in one enterprise, making war. In every other endeavor they are mediocre at best. While this is only my opinion, I believe that this duality where governments are great at war, but generally suck at everything else is due to an issue of motivation. See in War the individual troops on the ground and the country as a whole is generally very motivated. Being shot and having your way of life stripped from you tends to be a very good motivator.

Week in Review – 8 Times the Left Got Trolled

Precious snowflakes had a hard time this week. President Trump hasn’t been impeached, there was nothing really to protest so they couldn’t break anything and every time they turned around they just seemed to get Trolled. They did not have to cross a bridges because it seemed as if it was everywhere this week. It is almost as if the rest of America has finally had its fill of the sanctimonious leftist killjoys and decided that it was time to have some fun at their expense.

Trump to Christie, “Steak is for Winners!”

At least they stopped short of describing it as a situation in which President Trump pinned Governor Christie to the floor of the oval office while he tried to shove handfuls of meatloaf into his mouth as he screamed, “No Chris you get the meatloaf because steak is for winners!!”

These outlets are not only acting hysterical, they are manufacturing it, packaging it up and giving it away for free.
