Evelyn Farkas a former Obama administration Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense gave a March 2nd interview to Morning Joe’s Mika Brezezinski. The topic of their discussion surrounded The New York Times article which described the Obama Administration’s mad scramble to uncover and disseminate information that they felt would be damaging to the incoming administration in the waning days of their time in office.

Week in Review: Rapists, Judges and Stairs… Oh My
It has been a very eventful week with drama on SCOTUS confirmation, healthcare reform drama, bombshell spying revelations and the typical leftist nonsense that is becoming all too common place. Seriously many of the stories I am including this week I would have I would have probably don’t a serious double take a couple of years ago just seeing the headlines, but today it is a shrug and sigh of resignation.
Liberal Logic: Don’t Like Government Mandated Healthcare – You Must Be Cheap
Second, thinking about Obamacare makes me angry. Not “oh shucks I forgot to buy stamps” kind of angry, but go outside and kick a tree stump during a profanity laced tirade kind of angry. Like millions of Americans I was independently purchasing healthcare at a reasonable cost, with a reasonable deductible which allowed me to see a doctor I liked before the advent of Obamacare. Obamacare treated me to higher premiums, skyrocketing deductibles and having to go through the pain of changing plans and finding new doctors.

We are at war. While we use hashtags, candlelight vigils, FaceBook virtue signaling, flowers, teddy bears and unconditional love as our weapons of choice they are playing for keeps and their methods for waging war are decidedly more lethal. Radicalized Muslims are not picky on how they kill us it only matters that they do. Until we can come to terms with this and have these necessary debates and move to stop this madness the attacks will only continue and the Leftist Quislings will carry on defending the indefensible and obfuscating the danger.
Incidental Collection is the New Plausible Deniability
Additionally, when discussing a March article from the Guardian on James Clapper’s response to the allegations I specifically said, “They go to great lengths to imply that if the FISA warrants targeted an outside entity that had some tie to the Trump campaign, but did not specially name Trump or his associates then James Clapper would be technically correct.” Well thanks to Congressman Devin Nunes yesterday’s blog has been proven correct and the phrase of 2017 will be “Incidental Collection.”
Mainstream Media: It is Time to Ante Up
The media has been walking a tightrope by refuting President Trump’s claim and yet at the same time lending credence to the Trump Campaign / Russian collusion story which is based upon evidence that also supports Trump’s claim. Confused? I am and I follow this on a regular basis. While NBC and other media outlets continue to discount evidence of Obama administration executive overreach (spying on political opposition falls into this category) they continue to slander President Trump with stories where the collection of evidence that supports their narrative as widely reported in fact support Trump’s claim that he or members of his campaign and transition staff were monitored by our government.
Crossing the Thin Blue Line
Recently a video has been making the rounds of a young man in New York who berates two New York City Police Officers for no other reason than he felt like being a jackass. For several minutes the two Police Officers patiently endure this young man yelling obscenities and making absurd judgments about them while trying to enjoy what is probably a well-deserved break. At the heart of this video is a complete and disturbing lack of respect for those Police Officers who on a daily basis put their lives on the line to keep us safe.
