What Good is Empathy if You are Dead?
The latest narrative making the rounds among the Left leaning media is… President Trump did not show enough empathy during his Texas visit. Of course, this story is being pushed by the mainstream media because it furthers their narrative that there is something wrong with President Trump mentally. It is Rule #5 of Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” in that it is only meant to further ridicule the President and not report the facts. These accusations are offered up with the thinnest of evidence.
Democrats: Time to Put Your Rabid Dog ANTIFA Back on the Leash
This weekend ANTIFA once again was able to use the rioters veto to get both the Patriot Prayer and March against Marxism gatherings cancelled. The organizers of both events cancelled the events after receiving threats of violence. While the organizers did the right thing in taking these threats seriously and putting the safety of the rally goers first and foremost, we have to wonder when will it finally be enough. ANTIFA is creating an unsustainable situation in which the constitutional rights of Conservatives are being violated on a weekly basis. Every week brings us more horrifying images and videos of our fellow Americans being beaten for their political beliefs.

What happens in the coming months when ANTIFA finally takes it too far and they kill someone who is protesting, but has zero affiliation with any hate groups? Are the media, Democrats and sadly many Republicans going to condemn this organization or will they simply join in ANTIFA in Step 3 above and slander that person as a Nazi? At this point in time I honestly believe that the latter is the most likely scenario.

Moral cowardice? I have heard multiple versions of this type of language today and I am now convinced that the Left has a warped sense of what bravery entails. President Trump could have gone to that press conference and walked back his first statement and said exactly the same things that the media and Democrats have been screeching about for three days. This would have been “moral cowardice”.

If a neo-Nazi scumbag craps himself in the woods… how long does President Trump have to disavow? It is a trick question according to the dinosaur media as President Trump is a Nazi. For years there has been a double standard in the old media structure. They were filled with Leftist activists, but they at least tried to maintain the mask of impartiality. Never has the radical Leftwing media bias been so clear and so damaging to our society. When Republicans were shot on a ballfield, the media and Democrats were quick to condemn the rhetoric on all sides for causing the incident.

Let me be as clear as I can possibly be… what happened yesterday was a terrorist attack. White supremacists are scumbags. So are black supremacists, brown supremacists and Asian supremacists. Any person that traffics in ideas that believes that their race is superior to others or calls for the annihilation of another person’s group based solely on race is a scumbag. Using political violence to intimidate and silence the opposition is disgusting and un-American.

The problem with painting these formerly reasonable positions as the extremist viewpoint is it becomes an unjust character attack and ensures that no further debate can occur. The Left has simplified the debate into a binary choice… you either agree with them or you are a Nazi. This politically expedient argument has left many who consider themselves a Classical Liberal behind as media and politicians abandon long held positions to go chasing after the votes and money of the very vocal minority in the base that has careened very far to the Left recently.
The Trumperang Effect –Mainstream Media Just Doesn’t Understand Trump’s Base
This overreaction by the media, Democrats and Hollywood elite in a grand irony does not erode the President’s support from the base as intended, but has the exact opposite effect as many supporters then move to defend the President from the hyperbolic screeching. While many of us disagree with the President on many issues, it is difficult to express those disagreements because the Leftist hysteria always seems one degree worse. When the President makes a mistake, the media in an attempt to capitalize on this then overreaches and finds themselves the victim of the Trumperang Effect.
When everything is racist…
The only way that the millennial can avoid cognitive dissonance between what they learned from academia and their experience is through an elaborate process of confirmation bias where they begin painting innocuous statements and actions with the board brush of white nationalism. In the last year alone I have seen articles arguing that the following things are racist; Pokeman Go, historically accurate films like Dunkirk, the “truth”, a green cartoon frog, the “OK” symbol, prioritizing national security, standing for the national anthem, making any other argument for immigration reform that is not based on open borders, believing that the government should be smaller, displaying the American flag, basically disagreeing with any Leftist argument and milk.
‘People Must Be Free To Express Dissent’… Just Don’t Do it at Google
There can be no clearer dichotomy that represents the Regressive Left’s mind then when they wax poetic about the value of diversity and predictably react in a totalitarian fashion when faced with intellectual diversity. Google’s recent firing of an employee who expressed a dissenting opinion in a 10 page memo that went viral, ironically on the lack of tolerance for intellectual diversity, should frighten Americans not only because this is an American Corporation, but one that serves as a gateway to the internet where millions go to find information, news and to express our views.
